Freiberg Snow November 2023

Snow is finally back in Freiberg that started late this November 2023. A lot of people say they really don't need it while some are very happy to play with it most especially children. I, for myself being a kid at heart, have been looking forward to it. I was pleasantly surprised to see things covered in magical cottony white sugar-like puff as a I peeped through my window this morning. I mean it's much better that yesterday's windy ice punching gloomy weather. Today was brilliantly sunny, bright, and merry. Thanks to the hard-working Winter Service Crew for making the roads navigeable. Enjoy the snow everyone and keep frostbites away by wearing Winter Clothing and keeping yourselves warm.

Freiberg Zoo

Freiberg Zoo is owned by Freiberg City and maintained by an association called Freiberger Tierpark e.V. since October 30, 2015. It aims to make the zoo more family-friendly and the Entrance free. The zoo cares for a host of cute and interesting animals such as Alpakas, Deers, Birds, Donkeys, Sheep, Wild Boars, Rabits and many more. It's open from 9AM to 6PM during Summer (April-October) and 9AM-3:30 PM during Winter (November-March) except on Mondays. Here is a picture of the Deer near the North East Entrance. The Buck seemed to be checking the Albino one which chose to lay down after a full meal. The same was true for the Sheep on the other fence which seemed to enjoy the company of friends after breakfast. While others were still resting the donkeys here along with the other sheep are up on their feet. The donkey in the middle even gazed towards the camera for a perfect shot. Tips and Strategies to Pass the Einbürgerungstest or Naturalization Test in Germany I recently took the Einbürgerungstest or Naturalization Test in Germany last Sept 5, 2024 and got 33 out of 33 questions or 100%. If you are interested in getting similar results I will share to you some Tips and Strategies that I used in this blog post. I took the test as part of the requirements listed by the Bürgerburo or Citzens Office of the Landratsamt or District Office in Freiberg. In order to make this blog post easy to follow,  I divided it into 3 Parts: Registration, Preparation, and Examination. Registration I went to the nearest Volkhochschule and made an examination appointment. The officer will ask for your eAT/Ausweiß or Residence Permit and a €27 fee. Not all branches of Volkhochshule offer this exam. I had to go to the next city which is in Dresden to register. Tierpark Chemnitz

Want to see a funny active sloth or pet friendly goats? Then come visit Tierpark Chemnitz. It's located in Nevoigtstraße 18 in Chemnitz, about an hour away from the city of Freiberg. Parking is free which makes this trip very convenient and family friendly. We started around 11AM on a Sunday which is the feeding time for most meat loving animals like Hyeenas, Leopards and Tigers. The entrance fee is free for children below 14 years old and €6 for adults. I got mine for free courtesy of dad.
